Short Bays ride

A friend was out the other day and for the first time rode down from the Kiwi to Lyttleton and up Evans. He is suggesting this stretch of road might be safer than the road around Gebbies, because so many of us ride it and motorists will be expecting cyclists each side of the port. He might be right. And certainly its an enjoyable stretch of road. And the number of riders who took part in the Armstrong day out suggests a LOT of people think like this.
